SALLY HOLLINGSWORTH

Sally chose Coldwell Banker because she felt they shared a common vision for the real estate industry, one of integrity and valued service. These high standards have earned Sally respect in her careers both past and present. BCresortHomes.com’s progressive approach to the resort market provides Sally with an opportunity to participate in a work environment she enjoys and where she thrives - working with people.

Sally is tenacious and her passion is to bring all the pieces of the puzzle together for her clients. She loves getting thoroughly involved in the process, embracing their vision, working within their budget, scouting locations and working hard until she makes their dreams come true. “I love helping people achieve their real estate goals whether it be finding their dream home, vacation property or land to develop. Assisting clients in their sale or purchase is a serious responsibility and a service that I truly enjoy providing. The satisfaction of a plan well executed is worth the hard work and everybody wins.”

Sally raised her two children while operating her fitness studio, teaching the classes and offering personal training services before moving on to her career in Sales twelve years ago. Now that they are in University she finds time for interests outside her career. Besides her love of nature and outdoor activities, she has been a Rotarian now for three years, and is on the Ogopogo Rotary Club Executive Board, serving from 2005-2007. www.clubrunner.ca

This organization has had a major impact upon her life. Her initial goal was to meet people and get more involved in her new community, in addition Sally found herself able to focus her humanitarian efforts in a way that benefits our community, other Canadians and those in need around the world, both monetarily and hands on, through both leadership and example. Last year Sally’s Rotarian work culminated in a trip to Kenya and Ethiopia, the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, where she was able to see the Rotary Organization in action. “Having visited village schools, orphanages and hospitals, we witnessed the true value in providing clean water wells, computers to orphanages and facial reconstructive surgery for children and adults with deformed cleft palates. Helping people to help themselves contributes to a better world and I am grateful that I can make a difference. Becoming a Rotarian is one the best decisions I ever made.”

JACKIE JENNINGS-BATES

Jackie graduated from the Scottish Hotel School with a degree in Hotel and Catering management, which she quickly put to good use opening a vegetarian bistro and creating a healthy following of epicureans. It was a lot of hard work, but Mark made an eccentric M’aitre D and they had a lot of fun and made many friends.

The Canadian Rocky Mountains soon beckoned however, and Jackie was fortunate enough to be able to take some time to raise their two young boys amongst the splendid mountain scenery of Canmore. Easing back into the work force Jackie worked as the Event Coordinator for the local Chamber of Commerce, which involved organising tasks as varied as gala dinners, golf tournaments and political forums.

In 2002 the family moved to the Okanagan, to enjoy the beautiful lifestyle available here. The boys are now teenagers and quickly adapted to new schools and new friends and especially appreciate the chance to live on acreage.

Jackie could see the potential of BCResortHomes and quickly agreed to help with the administrative aspect of the business, in order to make more time available to Mark and Sally to do what they do best, which is serving you. Jackie’s strong organisational skills, and experience with managing people and events round out the team nicely.

Jackie likes to help people, especially those less fortunate and her dream is to be able to travel overseas and participate in development projects, possibly in Central America. In the meantime she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, going to the theatre and cross country skiing.
